We’re stepping out of the box and incorporating a little contemporary issues with world literature, while adding a dash of non-fiction and informational text. The goal: better readers, better writers, and overall a greater sense of gratitude for the free education your county provides!
English III
We will begin with “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge” and incorporate a media study using an episode of The Twilight Zone. The goal: determining and analyzing the fine line between fantasy and reality. Is one’s reality relative?
Contemporary Issues
We have a new President of the United States, now what? We will discuss what potential changes there may be for the country, cabinet choices, and you will get an opportunity to play Press Secretary for a day to defend some of the Tweets sent by your boss.
